Sleep and Rest According To Age

Post by Kezza070 » Sat Oct 22, 2016 8:24 pm

Hi all I'm new here and this is my first post.
Currently studying my diploma and am up to the chart where you need to enter how much sleep and rest a child needs according to their age & their assistance with hygiene.
I seem to be missing the chapter for this work as I cannot see it anywhere ,does anyone have the reading for this?
The next question is how do you provide opportunities for rest according to child's preference age developmental needs ect? How is that meant to be answered ? Do I list different needs and ages and so on ? I don't know how to elaborate ,
'Many thanks

For this - you need to provide examples of how a centre may provide rest for children for example - giving opportunities for children to sleep after lunch, following a babies sleep routine... etc.
