CHCECE018 Nurture Creativity in children

Case Study Three: Process not Product: The Children in the preschool room enjoy the activity of using shells, feathers and natural materials to make collages on their blank pieces of paper or on felt backgrounds. When they have finished their experience they put everything back into the baskets for use next time. They do not glue or stick anything down during this experience. Soft music plays in the background, and children are given the opportunity to take a picture of their creation or to draw it at the end, or they don’t have to if they don’t wish. The children’s photos are put into a folder which stays near the table of materials. Often children will sit and look through the photos and have discussion about previous creations.

I have answered all the questions except the very last one. which is:
"Link this experience with an element from a quality area of the NQS and explain why you have chosen this."

I am struggling to understand how to answer this question...

Hope anyone can help.

hi,

I think the nearest element I can link this learning experience for the children is NQS 3 Physical environment; element 3.2.2 Resources, materials and equipment are sufficient number, organised in ways that ensures appropriate and effective implementation of the program and allow for multiple uses.

i hope this will be a help

cheers
