CHCECE019 - Declaration Of The EYLF

Post by PaigeBradley » Thu Sep 22, 2016 12:42 pm

6(m). What Declaration does the EYLF support? What three goals does the Declaration referred to above have for all young people?

The Melbourne Declaration on Educational Goals for Young Australians

Goal 1:
Australian schooling promotes equity and excellence

Goal 2:
All young Australians become:
-Successful learners
-Confident and creative individuals
-Active and informed citizens.

Goal 3: ??

For the declaration, I found there are only two goals, but my question asks for three?
Do you have any ideas if I'm on the right track?

More broadly, the Framework supports Goal 2 of the Melbourne Declaration on Education Goals for Young
Australians that - All young Australians become:

• Successful learners
• Confident and creative individuals
• Active and informed citizens.

The Melbourne Declaration also commits to improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and strengthening early childhood education.

Hope this helps!
