CHCINF407D Meet the Information Needs of the Communtiy

hii Lorina
Country lane community preschool has been offering half day sessions for 3-4 year old for the past 20 years. The town has grown significantly in this time and with the improvement in rail services to the city many young families are moving to the area and commuting to work. The new director feels that half day session may no longer meet the needs of the community. The director would also like to extend the operating hours from 9am- 3pm to 8am- 4pm. Suggest how the Director could gather information about the proposed changes in order to make an informed decision about the preschool sessions and opening times. (You should consider both existing service users and future service users).

my answer so far
Handout survey to the exiting families/parents if they still be using the center
how do they feel if the center opens from 8am-4pm pinpointing the benefits
hand out community survey
apply from Department of education for extended opening hours permission
could you pls tell me if i am on the right track and if you could help me add some more to the topic
