Hello, I am currently doing a Diploma of Early Childhood and Care. I understand that i am meant to try and answer the question however, i am struggling to understand the Assessment do with diversity and inclusion.
Here is the question:
Discuss (3) examples of diversity and inclusion in the workplace that conflict with service policies, frameworks, rights and responsibilities of workers, employers and clients (i.e. UNCROC, Code of Ethics, national and state laws/ regulations/ frameworks for the workplace, service policies). I It also says I have one legal and one ethical situation where misunderstandings may arise and one must be linked to National Quality Standards.
It would be much appreciated if an explanation of the question could be provided or a few example so that i could have a better understanding of what is required.

Re: CHCECE001 - Diversity and Inclusion That Conflict With Service Policies
OK, we need to come up with three examples of diversity and inclusion that may conflict with working in an early childhood setting. So, diverse people within the community include: Indigenous Australians, people with disability, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, mature age workers and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people.
For the second part of the question have a look at the NQS and see if you can come up with a legal and ethical issue that may arise.
Guide To The NQS
For example:
Legal - an unauthorised person wants to pick up a child from the centre
Ethical - a family doesn't want their child to participate in birthday celebrations at the centre
Hope this helps,
,
Lorina
