CHCIC501A - Playground Equipment & Facilities Audit

Post by kasp » Wed Dec 21, 2011 3:35 pm

I need to do a playground equipment and facilities audit. Then develop a continuous improvement plan to update an older playground, including a list of new equipment , toys etc. Work out costs, timeframe, who is responsible for each job. I can do this but need ideas of how to set it out. Not sure how to go about an audit and how to set that out as well.
Sorry first time user on this forum.

Hi Karen,

Hope you are enjoying the holiday break...

I did manage to find a playground manual that gives details about playground guidelines, developing a playground and also includes a playground audit. There is alot of info in there and when I had a browse through it, it does take alot to do a playground audit. From what I understand you will need to do a lot of measuring! Anyways, check it out and see if it helps out!

With the continuos improvement plan I suggest you set it out in a table format. Just add each of the headings you mentioned in 1 box each then add your response responding to the headings... Hopefully that doesn't sound too confusing.

Let me know how you go,

Cheers :geek:,

Hi there,

I am currently working in the same question however one point asks to describe the audit process I would use?

This is for an audit for outdoor equipment. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Thank you
