discussed 2 particular cultural/religious dietary requirement where a family may attend the childcare centre and we may need to accommodate their request.
• Do they have foods within this culture/religion that they aren’t allowed to eat?
• Or do they have a particular way that they want their food prepared?
• How do centres meet these individual requirements?
• Should the staff talk to new families to find out if they have specific cultural food preferences?
• Could the family be involved in assisting with meal planning if the centre provides meals?
