Post by clairebear11 » Mon Mar 07, 2016 10:45 am

Hi Lorina
I am Claire, I was wondering if you were able to help me with some homework, I have to write down examples of practice for the following Principles and practices

Respecting for diversity
Ongoing learning and reflective practice
Hostilc approaches
Learning through play
Intentional teaching
Cultural competence
Continuity of learning and transitions
Assessment for learning

Here my examples
Learning through play
Provide different materials according to the interest of the children
Providing challenging experiences
Provide opened opportunities to be used
Cultural competence

Build research on different cultures

Assessment for learning
Use a variety of different methods of documentation on children
respect for diversity
Have pictures around the room of where people come from
Provide different kinds of music and instruments so children are able to learn about other childrens culture.
Include everyone and not discriminate

I have attempted these ones but need help to know if they are right and also if you are able to help me with the ones I haven't attempted yet

Thank you Claire
