CHCCS400C - Acts That's Must be Adhered To In Early Childhood

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help me out and let me know if I am on the right path. The question is: Identify 4 Act’s that must be adhered to in Early Childhood Education and Care industry and how each affects your role in the workplace.

So far I have:
1. Work health and safety act: The work health and safety act provides a framework to protect the health, safety and welfare of all workers at work. It also protects the health and safety of all other people who might be affected by the work.

2. The early childhood Australia code of ethics: The early childhood Australia code of ethics provides a framework for reflection about the ethical responsibilities for early childhood professionals. The code of ethics provides a basis for critical reflection, a guide for professional behaviour, and principles to inform individual and collective decision making.

3. The human rights and equal opportunity commission act - Children's rights are to be fully protected, it is important to ensure that all children have a equal opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their family background, sex, disability, or any other factor. In Australia, The human rights and equal opportunity commission act protects these rights, and all children's services are legally bound by this federal legislation.

I can't think of a 4th one and I am not sure if I am actually answering the question. Please help!

Doing this question myself and i THINK the 4th is 'The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child'
