CHCECE001 - Experiences On Customs, Events and Beliefs Of Children Within The Service

Post by Eckinda » Wed Dec 09, 2015 12:58 pm

Hi Everyone!

Could some one please assist me with the following question?

- Learning Experience: Plan and implement a play experience that focuses on events, customs or beliefs that are relevant to the children and families within your service.

I wanted to do the Chinese New Year (2016) and provide children with opportunities for art and craft such as making a dragon out of all of the children hand print but as its now December and I want to implement the experience this month I have ran out of ideas on what culture event I could focus on and extend with an activity.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

On the 23rd December in Japan they celebrate the Emperor's Birthday. It is a public ceremony celebrating the emperor’s birthday, which takes place at the Imperial Palace, where the gates of the palace are opened to public traffic.

Hope this helps,
