Hi Does Anyone can help me please with this Question:
1.)List two ways that educators/ the service can support mothers continuing to breastfeed whilst their child is in care?
2.)c) When preparing the rest time environment what would you use as a guide to ensure;
(i) the facilities were clean and hygienic
(ii) the equipment used for rest time meet approved safety standards?
My Answers:
1)•Provide a breast feeding mothers room suitably equipped where mothers can express their milk and store safely.
•Provide flexible working hours and breast feeding breaks to further support mothers continuing to breastfeed.
2)•(i)Ensure the bed line is clean and in good repair. Bed linen is for use by an individual child and will be washed before use by another child.
•(ii)Safe sleep practices being implemented, including cots, other bedding equipment and accessories that meet Australian safety standards.
I am not really sure with my answers to be honest...Thank you

Yes, you're on the right track with your response!

Tell parents when you first talk to them that you support breastfeeding.
Have a comfortable place in your centre or home for mothers who want to breastfeed or express milk.
Be positive about the baby’s mother leaving breast milk for her baby

This question is asking about "a guide" which you can refer to.
1) Maybe the NQS and yes the Australian safety standards for your second question. :thumbup;
Guide To The NQS
Hope this helps,
