Encouraging Children To Participate & Examples Of Movement Skills

Hi I am stuck on these two questions if someone could help me or put me in the right path that would be a great help.

1.Why should you encourage children to participate in a variety of experiences?
2.Provide examples of activities which support the development and fundamental movement skills competency of children.

1. Support them develop new skills and interests, try new things... etc.
2. Fundamental movement skills are based on running, jumping, skipping hopping etc. So you can find activities based on these:
