Hi everyone
I need some help in answering a question on my assignment.
So I need to call a parent to let them know that their child has been involved in an incident in the outdoor environment.
a) How would you clearly and calmly communicate information about this incident?
b) what communication techniques would you use during this situation?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance,
Rachael

Re: CHCECE026 - Calling A Parent About A Child
So, what would you say? You would reassure the parent that the their child is OK and you just wanted to let them know what has happened. You need to be positive and reassuring etc. Be polite, answer all the questions the parent may have about the incident. Let them know that you will also be available to talk to them during pick up in the afternoon etc.
Hope this helps,
