CHCECE007 - Protecting The Rights Of The Child

Post by sunset » Sat Aug 01, 2015 2:32 pm

Hi everyone!

I`m struggling with this question. How do you ensure to protect the rights of the children in your care?
This question is connected to the UN convention on the rights of the child.

So far I have just written that you always act in the best interest of the child and hang the UN convention articles in your room on the wall, so you know what the rights are and follow them.

Thanks for your support!

P.s I am totally new in this business and it is really hard to study by myself so if maybe someone would be interested in building a group to support each other, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi!

Welcome to Aussie Childcare Network!

Yes, you're on the right track with your response. You need to refer to UN Convention Of Children's Rights.

The following may help as well:

Australia's Commitment To Children's Rights

Hope this helps,

:geek:,
