I am not sure if my answers below are correct.
A. Lightly touching a child’s arm when you are giving praise
B. Getting down the child’s level when he or she is speaking to you.

The question says "using cues from children" so basically it means how do you know a child wants you to interact with them in their play. Something like they ask you "we are playing cats and dogs can you be the vet" or they give you props to use in their play "I made a cup of coffee for you".
