Responding To The Varying Abilities & Confidence Of All Children

Post by grimditch » Thu Jul 09, 2015 12:22 am

hi I have a question it is

How would you respond positively to the varying abilities and confidence of all children?

Include the “variety of ways” you can acknowledge children’s efforts and achievements.

this is my answer
If the child’s communication styles are considered negative or unacceptable within an education and care service then we need to role-model more strengths-based practices and to adopt a friendly rather than a preaching manner. Discussing and providing opportunities to practise (e.g. games, role-play or puppets) are more respectful ways to respond to a child‘s communication styles, which may include shouting, crying or screaming.”

dose anyone a different answer I'm getting isn't right please help

You need to refer to: Element 5.1.3- Each child is supported to feel secure, confident and included.

This mentions "varying abilities and confidence". It also provides some examples.
