HI,
IT IS 8:45 AM AND ROBYN A TRAINEE, IS CHANGING NAPPY. ALISHA (13 MONTH) IS QUITE BIG FOR HER AGE BUT TENDS TO BE RATHER CLUMSY. SHE OFTEN FALLS OVER AS SHE PREFERS TO RUN RATHER THAN WALK. ALISHA DOES NOT LIKE TO HAVE HER NAPPY CHANGED AND TENDS TO SQUIRM AROUND ON THE CHANGE TABLE TIME A REAL CHANGES.
ROBYN IS CONCERNED WHEN SHE SEES THAT ALISHA HAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE FOUR FINGER PRINT BRUISES ON THE BACK OF HER UPPER THIGHS AND A SINGLE SMALL CIRCULAR BRUISE, BLUISH IN COLOUR, ON THE FRONT OF EACH THIGH . THE LARGEST BRUISE IS ABOUT THE SIZE OF A 5 CENT PIECE. THE OTHER BRUISES ARE SMALLER IN SIZE. ON CLOSER EXAMINATION.
ROBYN ALSO FINDS THAT ALISHA HAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE SIMILIAR OLDER FINGER PRINT BRUSING ON THE INSIDE OF HER UPPER ARMS WHICH IS YELLOWISH IN COLOUR.
ALISHA'S MOTHER HAS NOT BEEN WELL FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND THE FAMILY ARE STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY BECAUSE ALISHA'S FATHER WAS MADE REDUNDANT AND HAS BEEN UNABLE TO FIND WORK. THERE ARE TWO OLDER BROTHERS IN THE FAMILY. ON REFELECTION ROBYN HAS NOTICED THAT MUM AND DAD HAVE BEEN RATHER TENSE AND QUITE ABRUPT WITH ALISHA. YESTERDAY ALISHA WAS CRYING WHEN SHE ARRIVED WITH HER DAD. HE COMMENTED THAT ALISHA WAS BEING A PAIN .
ROBYN FINDS IT HARD TO THINK THAT THE INJURIES TO POPPY WERE MADE BY HER PARENTS. ROBYN KNOWS THAT MUM AND DAD ADORE ALISHA . PERHAPS ALISHA BUMPED HERSELF? AFTER SHE IS RATHER CLUMSY.
AND MY QUESTIONS ARE :
WHAT SHOULD ROBYN DO IF SHE HAS SOME CONCERNS OR SUSPECTS RISK OF SINGNIFICANT HARM ?
ANSWER : WHEN ROBYN SUSPECTS ALISHA HAS SOME RISK OF SIGNIFICANT HARM, SHE SHOULD TO TAKE APPROPRIATE STEPS TO ENSURE ROBYN IS PROTECTED AND THE SUSPECTED ABUSE IS REPORTED TO THE APPROPRIATE PERSON.
ASSUME THE ROLE OF ROBYN AND WRITE A DRAFT OF DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTSAND RECORD HER CONCERNS ABOUT ALISHA.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW THAT IN QUESTION 1 I AM ON RIGHT TRACK OR NOT .AND I AM STUCK WITH THE QUESTION 2 PLEASE HELP ME .
THANK YOU.
