Distance From Equipment To Path & Policies Of Abuse

need help with some question please.. if any one can help .. i tried hard to find the answer but couldn't get it
1 ques: what is the recommended distance that should be maintained from the equipment to the surrounding path ?
2 ques: what is the reason for maintaining the distance ?
3 ques : three policy child care can apply for child abuse and domestic violence?
waiting for answer... could anyone please help me for these questions
