Post by Garfield » Thu Nov 06, 2014 1:52 am

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCECE010 support the holistic development of children in early childhood
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? Yes
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
Specify one (1) positive and one (1) negative influence on the following developmental areas.
1.Brain development
2.Prenatal period
3.Social environment (family and community)
4.Nutrition
List 2 ways that the developmental areas above link with both the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
For the first one- brain development, I understand the positive and negative influence on the brain development, like abuse have negative impact on the brain development.
But for the left, I totally haven't got ideas.

Ok so for each oe you will need to do some searching to get your answers. For each search you need to type in "positive effects of..." and "negative effects of..." and with the information available you will be able to get your response. In regards to linking it the EYLF and NQS go through both of these documents and find an outcome and standard that you can relate to each of the points mentioned. Here are some links to help for the second question:

1) Understanding The EYLF

2) Guide To The NQS

Hope this helps,
