1. Why is it important to plan a range of activities and for the setting to incorporate a range of environments?
It is extremely important to plan and provide and incorporate a range of activities in the environment when planning you need to plan and provide a safe physical environment and ensure the individual personal care that is caring, nurturing and responsive to the individual child’s needs. It is important to plan and considering the space and resources to use to provide a stimulating environment and in doing do meeting the children’s needs.
The environment & planning is the starting point at the service as it is base and influences children long before they encounter a formal learning situation.
