Description and Message:
This is from the Katherine and Joel senerio for the service menu. As it says to adjust to the menu to meet their needs and katherine and Joel are lacto vegetarians do I just put vegetarians meals for the Tuesdays and Thursdays that they attend for the 4 days? Because I can't meet the minimum requirements for red meat and white meat if I do so or do I put a vegetarian meal with a meat meal? As it says I can only do a minimum of 2 vegetarian meals fortnightly??? If that makes any sense what so ever, someone please help me?! Lol

OK, so the days that Katherine and Joel are at the centre you need to provide them with an alternative meal to all the other children if all the other children are having non vegetarian meals. Since is is part of their dietary requirement you need to ensure that Katherine and Joel are only given lacto vegetarian meals. If on a day that they are at the centre the meal is a vegetarian meal for all the centre you still need to offer an alternative to Katherine and Joel since they are lacto vegetarian which is different from vegetarian. So when preparing the menu plan just include an alternative option during meal times for Katherine and Joel.

I'm also attaching some information on food and nutrition for children to help with this assignment.

Hope this helps,
