for percentile norm i found this information as well.
Norm referenced tests indicates the children’s relative ranking to that of their classmates or of a group of same age.
Percentile norms are most commonly used in child care. A percentile score indicates the rank compared to others. For example in case of weight percentile norm child’s score is 20th percentile than it means 20% of children weigh same or less to him while 80% weigh more than him. If child’s percentile score is 50th percentile it means his weight is average as he falls in middle of the percentile.
Percentile norms can be used to figure out physical skills, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, expressing themselves, speech development, etc.
