Key Words of Meaning with children?

HI :) I am having trouble in understanding How will You use key words of meaning with children?

Hi Amyyy,

How will You use key words of meaning with children?


A child will learn different aspects of word meaning such as cultural meaning, social meaning, metaphorical meaning etc, not just dictionary meaning. For e.g. A chair - a piece of furniture with four legs used for sitting. A cross -It is the most common symbol of Christianity, intended to represent the death of Jesus when he was crucified etc...
