Your Assignment Type: Standard Question

Your Question?
Trainees will complete:
8 jottings

Could i please have 1 example of each of this questions to help me get started, pretty nervous about what to do.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
jottings? maybe like small observations of an individual child?
Would that mean, 8 jottings of the same child
or 1 jotting for 8 individual children....

help!

I think you will have to do 10 jottings on the same child on each of the developmental domains. I'm giving you a link to the developmental milestones available on this site so you can refer to them when you are doing your jottings.

Child Stages of Development

Below is some information on jottings. If you're not sure, post one up and I can check it for you...

Jottings

-A very brief recording usually only a few sentences. A paragraph at the most.
-Written after the event, focusing on significant behaviors.
-Need to be objective and non-judgmental.

Things to remember
-Jottings are a quick way of recording significant information about children.
-Usually written in past tense.
-Can be used in conjunction with photos and work samples.

Hope this helps,
