What is the Sun?

Post by star-little » Thu May 23, 2019 4:50 pm

The Sun is a star. It is a huge, spinning, glowing sphere of hot gas. The Sun is just like the stars that you see in the night sky. It appears so much larger and brighter than the other stars because we are so close to it. The Sun is the center of our Solar System and contains most of the mass in the Solar System. It is largest object in the solar system.

Hello,

The Sun is a star which is located at the center of our solar system. It is a yellow dwarf star that gives off different types of energy such as infra-red energy (heat), ultraviolet light, radio waves and light. It also gives off a stream of particles, which reaches Earth as "solar wind".
