A wonderful book about Anzac Day

Post by JNP » Wed Apr 17, 2013 6:36 pm

Hi everyone,
I have a passion for children's books and just wanted to let you know of a wonderful book I bought about Anzac Day. It is called, My Grandad Marches on Anzac Day. It is a picture book written by Catriona Hoy & illustrated by Benjamin Johnson. It is a look at Anzac Day through the eyes of a little girl. It explains the significance of Anzac Day in terms that young children can understand.
It is such a beautiful book, I can't wait to read it to my kindergarten children next week.
I only hope I can get through it without getting teary...

Regards
Jules
