Pregnancy at risk

Post by isay619 » Mon Feb 29, 2016 2:29 am

Just want to ask, if a staff in her early weeks of pregnancy had spotting, was advised no heavy lifting by her doctor, informed her employer and was told "you are expecting too much from us" and led to her miscarriage, is there any sanction against the centre?

I read about safe job from Fair work Australia but the employee was not informed of such a provision. Now it is too late and this had caused too much stress and depression to her.
