Preferred name for those working in childcare

Hi,

I am conducting research around the use of Speech Language Pathologists within early childhood settings and I am wondering what is the preferred name that I should be using within my research for those employed in child care settings, family day cares, community kindergartens ect.
Is it Early childhood educators (ECE), Early childhood carers, day care workers??
Any others???

Early childhood educators is the preferred name another name is childcare professionals...
