OOSH admin hours

Just wondering what the admin hours for an OOSH coordinator should be? I currently get two hours per week, and I run a 60 place centre. We get around 40 - 45 children per afternoon.

Hey,
I'm not sure what the admin hours should be, but I get three hours admin per week. My numbers are smaller as well. I struggle to even complete everything in the 3 hours, I find myself working a lot more unpaid hours to get everything done.

In the regs it states a 2 hour minimum "off the floor - programming time" should be given to all educators who do the programming and planning...

Even that's not enough... How can you do everything in 2 hours per week??

Okay thanks guys!
This past week alone I've probably done about 5 - 6 hours worth of admin all up, and only was able to pay myself for two of them. Still didn't get all the things done that I needed to.
Kind of feel like we should be able to set our own admin hours, depending on the size of the service, how many children we have per day etc. Wishful thinking though!

It would be amazing if we could choose our own admin hours! maybe speak to your manager and see if they can give you atleast a bit more?

With all the documentation that's required it seems like there are not enough hours in the YEAR! I think its very unfair that you have to do admin work on your own time... I would speak to managers about how much paperwork that you have to do during the week and how much time you get to do it - maybe they could be a little more lenient with it...
