Jobs Completed When Children Are Not Present

Post by tiffwal73 » Tue Mar 28, 2017 9:57 pm

HI there, I am currently in battle with my employer over keeping my kids safe...

We have asked that major logged jobs with our school janitor be completed during times when children are not present, obviously for their safety. Am i crazy in thinking that its common sense as well as a NQS requirement that major works/maintenance be done away from children?

Hi,

I am on the same page as you, but what I have learnt over the years is one persons common sense is not the same as an others.
I don't see it a problem rearranging the jobs into children and no children times, but what do we know?

Well it depends on the job but yes if possible, it should be done when the children are not around...
