First aid renewal - who is responsible for costs

Post by cattan » Sat Nov 16, 2013 7:58 am

Hi I am currently employed as a permanent part time child care assistant. My anaphalaxis certificate is still current but my first aid has expired. can someone please tell me if it is my responsibility to pay for the refresher course or the employers responsibility. thanks :)

I think it's your responsibility to pay... I've had to pay for all my first aid courses except me previous centre as they offered free professional development courses to all staff which include first aid. Does the centre pay for you to go to professional development and training classes such as workshops etc. I've been trying find the info however nothing as yet...

Sorry couldn't be of further help,
