Diploma Wages Level 3.3 or Level 3.4

Post by jellybean19 » Thu Feb 25, 2016 10:36 pm

Hi,
I hold my Diploma and am being paid at 3.3. Should I be getting the 3.4 rate or because when i started and I signed my contract agreeing, am I stuck. Also can I be counted in the 50% of Diploma staff needed, my thought is no because I am being paid as a cert 3.
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks

If you are a Diploma qualified assistant you will be on Level 3.4 minimum...

However, if you are a room leader you should be on Level 4...

Does my employer have no choice but to pay me at 3.4? What about the fact that I signed my contract agreeing to 3.3?

Hi I'm doing checece024
Task002 question 3
The photographs below show typical play experiences that may be provided for children on a daily basis to support learning and development

Identify a learning outcome linked to the elyf
Identify the key developmental areas which may be supported by the play
Identify the key role of the educator In supporting children's learning

I really need an answer

Did you complete your Diploma qualification before you signed your contract or after? In the Award, if you have a Diploma qualification and you are an assistant , Level 3.4 is the minimum that you can be paid...
