I used to get a plastic kids bowling set and my kids at work loved playing with this. It was excellent for coordination development as well.
The GL from the toddler room used to use it as well for her kids, but with less pins and they "bowled" from less distance, but they loved it too.
Its a great game, with bowling sets easily available and inexpensive
