Hi I'm currently completing this part of my assignment. Any information or help would help me out alot.


Case Study 3
You are the Director of a private long day care service licensed to care for 40, 0-5 year old children. You have been asked by the service owner to undertake a review of the service’s use of cleaning agents and materials used to clean and maintain buildings, equipment and grounds. As part of the review you want to research and present the service owner with three environmentally friendly alternatives for chemical cleaning agents, treated timbers and plastics, and artificial surfaces. To do this effectively you feel you need more information to ensure you are informed of the most appropriate materials.

Complete the following task.
Research, and then describe three (3) environmentally friendly alternatives for:
a) Chemical cleaning agents-
Answer: 1. bi-carb soda, 2. lemon juice and 3. white vinegar

b) treated timber and plastics-
I'm sure not with this one.

c)plastics
A: 1.wooden toys for play, 2. recycled materials ie tyres, containers, tins for gardens, outdoor play and out settings, 3. natural objects like leaves, sticks, shells for art and craft and imaginative play.

d)artificial surfaces

A:Mulch, natural turf, sand and recycled rubber. (I chosen 4 for this one)

Do i need to pick 3 alternatives for each part in a,b, c and d?

Pavers
Bamboo
I struggled with this one too, but here were some of my ideas
