Scenario: Matthew - Wearing Superhero Suit All Day

Mathew celebrates his 4th birthday mid november and come to care in a superhero suit he received as a gift. Mathew obviously loves his suit and wears it all day. The next time he comes to care Mathew is wearing the same suit and Linda- mum says he has been refusing to take if off. Becuase it is becoming quite hot during the day, Mathew's refusal to wear different clothes could become an issue. Linda asks you to help her with the situation
Explain what you could say to Mathew to help him understand that wearing is super hero suit all the time could affect his health.




Give choices
Arranging activity where Mathew has to participate in his favorite play.
Explain Mathew in simple words about the side effects of wearing his super hero custome. Explain the ocassion where he could put on the hero suit and take it off so that he can play easily with his friends. Explain why it is not safe to wear the suit as it will raise his body temperature.

Yeah, you're on the right track with your response.

Maybe you can add how the superhero suit is becoming smelly and it needs to be washed otherwise it may cause him to get an infection...
It can cause him to sweat as well which will also give him an infection...
