Scenario Eric 3-7 years old

Task 2 relationships,,Scenario Eric 3-7yrs, Eric has been attending preschool for 3 weeks. the practitioners find him to be curious, energetic and spirited. He enjoys physical activity and is a little loud but his Enthusiasm is contagious. He has already made friends and settled into the service. The practitioner has noticed that when Eric is with his mother his behaviour is quiet and withrdawn. Yesterday, with Eric standing by her side, Ereic mother said: I hope Eric is not too much of a problem. He's a bit slow,, not nearly as bright as his older brother. I guess it's too much to expected to have wo clever children in hte family. I AM STOCK WITH THIS . PLEASE HELP. " APPLEBE"

What would you say if you were put in a situation like this?

If you were the carer how would you respond?

You could explain to the mother about how curious and energetic her child is and perhaps show the mother some of her child's work he has completed. Explain to the mother the types of activities he engages with throughout the day, friends he plays with and his interests, take photos of the child and show the mother of his participation etc.

Hopefully this gives you an idea,
