Provide and Encourage Physical Experiences That Will Challenge Ability

Post by tayebehhabibi » Sat Aug 08, 2015 2:04 pm

how you will provide and encourage physical experiences that will challenge the individual at their own level of ability?

My answer is Activities should build up confidence and self-esteem. Everyone with dementia can do something and derive some satisfaction from it. This is another good reason to find out about the person – what skills have they used in the past, what do they enjoy now?

An activity that is meaningful or purposeful for one person may not be for another – consider the lifestyle of an individual: routines, ways they do things, including likes and dislikes unique to that .

please help me for this question

Than you for your help

child care professionals should support children's gross motor skills through a balance of planned and spontaneous experiences that are basses on children's individual interests and abilities .dance and movement experiences are also valuable for babies gross motor development .though they will need adult support to participate in these .

Hi tayebehhabibi,
