Professional development opportunities

Having trouble finding anymore information..
What are some professional development opportunities in your area that will enhance your own or other staff's knowledge of providing care for children with special needs.

The only thing I have found is the association for children with a disability provides information, either by free telephone advice, newsletters and fact sheets.

I am in Perth, northern suburbs, any help would be appreciated.
