explain how each of the five factors in the above statement can be translated in to practice??

Statement: Parents are valued as partners in caring for children and should be acknowledged as the child's primary carer.
Statement: Practitioners must be able to establish effective relationship with adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I have looked in both my books that I got when I started studying the diploma of children service but there is nothing in either of them.
for the working with parents statement.
I have only come up with communication is a necessity in the child care work field working with the parents to help give all children the best up bringing and being able to work and develop goals for the child to achieve.
the others I don't have any answers for and would really appreciate if someone could help me answer them.

Ok for trust, it would be as simple as if you say you are going to do something the make sure you do. For instance, if you promise the parent you will give them a copy of a learning story about their child then make sure you follow this through, or if they mention that their child doesn't seem to have much of an appetite and you say you will let them know exactly what they have for lunch, make sure you do this.
Ethical practice - could be demonstrated by providing a program that respects diversity (this could be shown in activities/posters/language/books etc.) This is only one aspect of ethical practice there are many more you could choose from.
Compassion - showing compassion by dealing sensitively with any issues the damily may have. For instance, they may be having family issues such as a family member in hospital. Showing compassion may just be by listening and empathising with them, offering support or just taking the time to listen.With empathy it means you are really trying to see things from their point of view an understanding why it is such a stressor for them. so I would say something like, listening, using appropriate body language and eye contact and perhaps even by giving a hug if seems appropriate.
Families when they come into centres have a lot going on in their lives and as they see us every day they may just feel comfortable speaking to you about their probs,
