Obtaining Accurate WHS Information & Completing Assessments

I can't seem to find any information for this question I've been looking for two days.
can someone help me out please?

and also
why should workplaces complete risk assessments? why should they be updated?

Such things as:

- Regularly checking the WHS website
- Sign up the the WHS newsletter
- Professional development courses on workplace health and safety
