Re: Need help in CHCECE001 & HLTHIR404D questions
Hi! I just recently finished these units... I'll tell you what I came up with but mine hasn't been marked yet so don't assume that it's right! lol!
1. Maybe you were brought up in a family who had very strong religious beliefs, this may effect the way to relate to non religious people. Perhaps your family were very strict in regards to manners, you may be offended by impolite people. Maybe your upbringing was very laid back and you accept everyone for who they are, nothing really offends you and you have a very open mind to everything that comes along... that sort of thing?
2. I sort of answered that in the above one! Maybe you had very little exposure to other cultures as you were growing up and so now you don't know how to relate to people from different cultural backgrounds?
3. They just want to know one area that you personally feel you need to improve. Maybe you need to learn more about muslims, catholics or Vegans to understand their culture/way of life better?
4. That question covers so many different types of families and cultures! I think they mean that you may come across families where the child has only one parent, or gay parents, adopted children, children who are raised by their grandparents, children with physical or mental disabilities or have parents with physical or mental disabilites and then all the different cultures, Indian, Muslim, Italian, Japanese etc etc etc...
I hope I've helped! I'm pretty new to this as well, I don't have my cert 3 and I'm going straight for my diploma so I'm just relying on life skills (as a mum) and what I'm learning from my placement at daycare and Kinder! Good Luck!
