Key Characteristics When Evaluating The Environment

Post by homework » Tue Nov 01, 2016 10:11 am

HI guys just seeing if i could get some help on this questions as i was told i was miss a key aspect.
question: Explain the key characteristics that need to be assessed when evaluating an environment to ensure it is safe and supportive.
What i have?
The key characteristics to evaluating an environment are that the area is developmentally appropriate furniture and fittings that suits all of all the children. All areas need to have good access for children to play safely. When setting out the yard or indoor area for any child to play it has to be designed appropriate, so that the room and yard flows right and doesn’t have any blind spots where you cannot see any of the children. Making sure that you also add areas that can simulate each and every child’s learning. The main characteristics is making sure that all staff is calm, respectful and friendly.
