We have been advised to keep our observations positive but i don't see how this works given the task?

"keep it Positive" Observations
I'm currently working on an assignment requiring a lot of observations on children who need additional support/ have behavior difficulties.
We have been advised to keep our observations positive but i don't see how this works given the task?
