You are responsible for maintaining legal and ethical work practices within the community services organisation for which you work. Your manager has asked you to prepare a report addressing the legal and ethical obligations which apply.

As part of your report, your manager has asked you to address the following questions/ issues:

What are the key legal obligations which apply to the organisation and staff members? Describe the type of obligations which apply.
Should the organisation have policies, protocols and/or procedures in place governing ethical issues? If so, what sort of issues should be addressed?
What steps can be taken to ensure that the organisation and staff members are complying with their legal and ethical obligations?
What can/ should a staff member do if they think that a colleague has acted unethically?
