Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: Planning
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
What open ended questions can you ask? about your visual arts experience?

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
open ended questions for example “what’s your favorite color”?

Description and Message:
I've set up an experience which is sand painting with red and green paint in glue, but I am not sure, if this does sounds like a open ended question. Is there more options for which questions can I ask?

Asking Open-Ended Questions

An answer to an open-ended questions gives us a window into what the child is thinking and feeling. And the response is sometimes wonderfully creative. In explaining or describing, children also use language more fully. Try to think of good “Open-Ended” questions to ask:
-Tell me about ___________.
-What else can you do with the _________?
-What could you use to make the ___________________?
-What do you think would happen if ________________?
-Is there another way to ___________________?

Hope this helps,
