HI,
plz help me whether iam on right track and help me to answer second subdivision.

1. In your own words describe what communication strategies and resources you can use to help make families of different cultures feel welcome at your service.

Guidance: In your answer make sure you include information about:
• How you would promote the cultural safety and culturally competence of the centre.
• How you can make peoples form all cultures (include examples of peoples with English as a second language migrants, refugees, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples) feel welcomed. Include relevant policies and procedures that relate.

Educators should be welcoming and approachable, accepting of difference and able to respect multiple ways of being, it helps children and their families to build a sense of belonging and trust.whether it si small or large or it may include several generations, When educators are able to include all families, it helps families to feel more welcome in the service. The people who feel difficult to write or speak in english, interpreters or translated material can help educators and families communicate with one another
We can promote culture safety and culture competence by
• Showing respect to them and Ask permission/informed consent
• Seek other cultural knowledge and Ask questions about their culture
• Avoid negative labelling of any other culture and make Ensure confidentiality will be maintained in the service.
• We can set a Showcase labelling with a country each week or month and take the opportunity to invite parents to share words or phrases from their language, songs, music, food, traditional dance and costumes.
• Celebrate culturally diverse calendar events throughout the year.
• Display and make accessible multicultural and multilingual resources.
