Consulting people on cultural norms on dealing with behaviour includes:
- talking to parents about how they deal and manage behaviour
- discussing with room staff about expectation on behaviour
- staff meeting on what behaviour is unacceptable and how to deal with the issue
- taking all cultural considerations of families within the centre
- understanding ages/stages of development of children
- realistic behaviour expectations
