Different Theories On Child's Development

I would like some help to clarify project question please
Explain different theories of physical, social, emotional, cognitive and communication development.
I started writing about the theorists and their theories, but now I'm just confused

Yes, I'd say you're on the right track.. You would explain the different theories on each of the development mentioned. So for cognitive you will explain vygotsky, for social - eric erickson etc.
