Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: Culture Cluster - LAO17470
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Basic Knowledge

Your Question?
I am doing a research & define assignment for my cultural cluster of the diploma course. I have managed to answer all the topics except - old definition of Aboriginality & current understanding of Aboriginality.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
What is the difference?

Can you provide the question in full? it is hard to get any context from what you provided. The definition of aboriginal is 'inhabiting or existing in a land from the earliest times or from before the arrival of colonists; indigenous.'

The word aboriginal is synonymous with indigenous i.e. native to any land (not just Australia, there are many aboriginal cultures throughout the world). As far as the difference between old and modern definitions I am at a loss, surely they are not referring to the fact that Aborigines used to be classified as Fauna (pre 1967 referendum)?
