Daily Practices Referring To Learning Outcome 5

Post by Jackie2015 » Tue Nov 24, 2015 8:18 pm

Hi,
Just signed up as I thought this may be a great place to ask for help with my studies - Cert 3 (Early Childhood Educator)
Need to provide examples on how educators could promote childrens learning about (learning outcome 5 - children are effective communicators) interacting verbally and non-verbally with others for a range of purposes..How will you make this part of your daily practice? Provide 3 examples ...
EG:- Outcome : (as per EYLF) include real life resources to promote children use of mathematical language :
ANSWER - Each time the child uses the stool to wash hands count the steps to the top 1.2.3
When filling the cups with water - discuss volume - full and empty
Counting the number of places at the table today - or discuss how many cups we need to put on the table.....

Can anybody help me with 3 more examples ?

Am unsure if i continue with the same educator example or choose 3 others from outcome 5..?

HI!

Welcome to Aussie Childcare Network!

You have some good examples! So, you're off to a good start...

I also have the following information where you can find practical examples relating to the outcomes:

Educators Promoting Outcomes

Hope this helps,

If the question is referring to a specific outcome (children interact verbally/non verbally) then I think you should provide examples on that outcome only...
